My name is Shelly Solberg
I  create,    I  teach,   I  share.  

I started designing this site from scratch in 2001 to promote fine art, design, and education.   When I started teaching in 2002, it became an instructional tool inside my classrooms too.   It's a constant work in progress.

      The Featured Video Trailer & Background Loop (on large screens)   begins and ends with a symbolic Classical style academy museum with the entablature supported by four caryatid-like winged lions becoming one with the sun and nature in a seasonal time-lapse of beautiful north central West Virginia.   Credits: The revolving sun (and sun audio) by NASA.   I created everything else.  

My inspirations: God, divine love, family, friends, and the Sun King: Richard [king] - [sun] Solberg.

This year, 2024, we've been married for 26 years!   See a few personal images of us, our son-in-law and daughter,  as well as our furbabies.

This is a preview of my Philosopy page.   In Education, (the video I created above), the angelic figures, guided by "Light", "Love" and "Life" represent ideas, values and virtues, all learning in peaceful harmony.   I was inspired in so many ways I created a video.   Details of "Education" and many more artworks, mirror my own personal, professional, and creative philosophy
